Question   Puffy Shirts
Hi, I was wondering if you have ever photographed anyone wearing a puffy shirt. I would love to be photographed wearing such a shirt, but I'm sure my wife would object. She has such an aversion to anything puffy. Puff pastry? No. Puffer Fish? No. Puffed pillows? Amazingly, no. It's all very odd, because she adores pirates. This is very confusing to me, as I'm sure you can imagine. The whole situation is frustrated by the fact that my wife speaks very very softly, and I have frequently found myself agreeing to things (accidentally) that I would never agree to if I could hear her properly. Do you have any advice about this? I'm meant to appear on a popular late-night show soon, and somehow I've agreed to wear a pair of glasses that blur my vision. I can't get into it, but I'll say this....they were once the reason I mistook a horse for a woman. Long story. Like I say, I won't get into it. What was my question again? Oh yeah, puffy shirts. I guess that's not a question. Well, thanks for your time.

Question
Hello, Scott! I am a huge fan of your work here in Chamberlain. In a year I plan on using you for my Senior Pictures. Where are some good places that you would recomend for me, if I wanted a good view of the sunset over the river?

- E R 1/25/2009 6:15:52 PM

Answer iF A SUNSET portrait is the goal, I would suggest a site just north of Chamberlain that is spectacular in the summer and fall months. I hope this helps you.

Thanks for writing us!

Question   Your family
Your family category was quite fun. You seem to have quite the creative people in your family...it's nice to see something unique and new and it's also quite enjoyable to be invited into the artist's life and meet his family. Quite the handsome bunch. I love your work!

- Manny Rodriquez 7/17/2006 8:05:45 PM

  Answer Manny,

Thank you for the kind words and affirmation. I do think it is always helpful to be transparent with folks checking out your work. Let me know if we can be of assistance in any way in the future, and thank you again.

Question   Wedding photos
Those first two pictures on your wedding slide show are just remarkable. What a picture perfect couple! Such intimacy and artistic capturing. I would love to see more of them!

- Lydia Scarba 6/29/2006 10:12:26 AM

Answer Thank you for your response Lydia.
The couple in those images are reluctant to allow the release of more images because they have "celebrity status" in the region of the world in which they live and over exposure for them would be injurious to there livlihood. I trust you understand.

- Scott S.  6/29/2006 12:56:06 PM

Answer I read somewhere in Star magazine that they might be in town over the holidays. Is there any way that they could have a signing with copies of their photos? My husband and I are huge fans...but we understand their need for privacy. They are quite remarkable people and in high demand these days.

Answer I think they might be vain enough to offer you their autographs.

- Scott S.  6/30/2006 9:02:11 AM

Answer I've heard that about them. I think that she got it from their father's side. He suffers from delusions of Gradeur and is a bit of a ego maniac...and without reason. Pray for him please.

- Donna C.  6/30/2006 9:16:27 AM

  Answer We will fervently!

Question   images lacking
There is a lack of images of "my people" on your site. We are, after all, the worlds oldest race and religion. I also noticed a lack of dental professionals as well. I hope you will rectify the situation immediately.

Shalom

- Dr. Tim Whatley 6/11/2006 10:43:40 AM

  Answer Tim,

We do not require our dentist-clients to wear their working garb on their portraits. Also their are in fact many of God's Chosen people in the portraits on the site.

Question   breathe taking
Wow....Scott is it? I've been all around the world, looking at art and photography and I would have to say that you have captured the essence in such a way that I'm feel I am there. It's so personal and real and the photo of the alps with the fog is amazing. Thank you for taking me on so many amazing adventures through your lens.

- Donna Chang 6/11/2006 10:25:00 AM

Answer Thank you Donna, I will pass on your commments to my mom who I know admires you.
